Nutrients & fertilizers for cannabis plants
Just like any other plants, cannabis requires certain nutrients & fertilizers to grow and produce a good harvest. Nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium are very important for root growth, bud development. flowering; and plentiful yields. You should make sure that you are using the correct ratio of nutrients and fertilizers during every growth phase of your cannabis plants. This will ensure an amazing harvest!
You should not put any nutrients & fertilizer into the soil while cannabis seeds are germinating. This may ruin your cannabis sprouts as they are extremely fragile. Tomato soil is excellent to use for the growing of cannabis sprouts until they are ready to receive nutrients & fertilizer. Tomato soil contains are healthy ratio of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium (NPK).
It is best to use a balanced ration of NPK in nutrients & fertilizers during the vegetative phase in order to maintain vigorous growth and maturity. Cannabis plants can be harmed by over fertilising, so experienced growers dilute their nutrients & fertilizers to ensure that they are not too strong and harm their plants.
It is not necessary to balance the ratio of your plant's NPK in nutrients & fertilizer during the flowering phase. However, it is advisable to provide a higher ratio of phosphorus nutrients & fertiliser to your plants so that flowers grow beautifully. Extra phosphorus will also help your cannabis plants produce healthier flowers.
